HID Global’s multi-technology iCLASS^® 32k card with HITAG2 supports both high and low frequency technologies to address 125 kHz HITAG2 migration to more secure 13.56 MHz iCLASS technology, making it an ideal solution for organizations using multiple contactless technologies.

With the addition of iCLASS technology, the Genuine HID^® cards allow organizations to benefit from the strong presence of iCLASS in the physical access control market, while offering backwards interoperability with existing HITAG readers.

To leverage the increased security provided by iCLASS SE^® platform, the multi-technology cards can also support Secure Identity Object™ (SIO) for multi-layered security that extends beyond the card technology, providing additional protection to identity data and contactless communications.

HID Secure Identity Services™ is also available for the multi-technology cards, providing an all-in-one, Web-based source for all credential provisioning card customization as well as management during the entire lifecycle of the credential.
