Crescendo® is a credit card-sized multi-technology smart card that enables strong authentication and physical access control, providing out-of-the-box, standards-compliant support for hundreds of logical access applications, and also serving as an employee ID badge.

Crescendo C200 smart cards are high-end products for the enterprise corporate market which are designed for integration in the Microsoft product suite. The smart card is compatible with the Microsoft Windows® Smart Card Framework (WSF) and supports applications such as Windows Domain Logon, Virtual Private Network (VPN), Microsoft Office Outlook, Microsoft Certificate Authority, Secure Web Access via Microsoft Internet Explorer and wireless LAN authentication. Crescendo also supports Microsoft Identity LifeCycle Manager 2007 and Microsoft Forefront Identity Manager 2010 to simplify the deployment, life cycle management, and auditing of smart cards used for logical access control applications.

With Crescendo C200, a cardholder doesn't have to carry multiple credentials, nor does he/she need to remember multiple passwords or PINs. Instead, the user have one single smart card as a convergence solution for access to logical or physical resources.
